Comparison of Hoodia to Other Diet Pills

Summary:
Hoodia doesn’t burn calories on its own like some of the weight loss pills that claim to burn off water weight or just increase your metabolism.  If you take Hoodia and still eat just the same way you always have, you will not lose any weight.  Hoodia only works to relieve your feeling o feeling hungry, which allows you to stick to eating right easier.

During the last few years, Hoodia has been on the weight loss scene as a gift from above.  Thousands and hundreds of thousands will stand firmly behind Hoodia as the absolute best appetite suppressant on the market.

But is Hoodia everything its users say it is?  Is Hoodia safe enough to use for long periods of time without side effects or harmful effects?  Does Hoodia have any helpful uses beside appetite suppressant?

As you know, Hoodia grows naturally in the South African Desert.  It cannot be found anywhere else in the world.  At least the Gordonii strand which produces all the wonderful appetite suppressing effects we have come to crave.  Some people say Hoodia gordonii is the strongest weight loss pill / appetite suppressant ever developed in history.  And some would say that they are right.

Hoodia works in a very interesting way.  It doesn’t not affect your body’s blood sugar.  It simply tricks the hypothalamus into thinking that the body has enough blood sugar in it and stops telling the body that it is hungry.

Hoodia was tested widely on animals before being approved for use in the United States.  And in each case, the animals would lose their appetites and refuse to feed.  This would cause their bodies to rely on its only fuel source… its own body fat.  This would case the animal to naturally lose weight and never feel the hunger usually accompanied by weight loss.

The company Phytopharm spend millions on the testing and development of the Hoodia gordonii plant for use in America.  So far, after thousands of clinical trials, people given Hoodia will usually eat from 500 to 1,000 calories less per day.

The other diet pills on the market are geared in a different direction.  Their idea is that if you burn off more calories, then you will lose weight naturally.  So they combine caffeine with other natural and some unnatural mood enhancers and energy boosters so you will move more and burn more calories.

Some of, well, the major problem with this method is that your heart sometimes is not ready for a quick jump in energy levels and especially sustaining energy levels that high for long periods of time.

This is why about 10 years ago; the diet pill industry got a big black eye when people started dropping dead from heart attacks.

Since then, the diet pill industry has learned its lesson… killing people is bad for business.  And if you want people to lose weight, changing their energy level is not the best answer.

For a long time the diet pill industry slumped, that is, until Hoodia gordonii was suggested as an appetite suppressant.

So far, Hoodia isn’t the cause of any negative effects in anyone.  Millions have tested the product and no negative side effects have been reported as of yet.

The South African tribe’s men use Hoodia to this day and they also have had no negative side effects.

Consider it… discipline in a bottle.
